Phones and Voice-mail
Lowell Area Schools utilizes a VoIP cloud-based telecommunications product named “Go-To Connect”. This advanced phone service replaces traditional phone equipment; offering a robust suite of communication features, and easy management from your web browser or mobile app.

- To change your Voicemail messages
- on your office phone:
- Press *99
- enter your code: 0000
- Press 0
- Press 1 to record your Unavailable message. (when you dont pick up)
- Press 2 to record your busy message. (when you are on the phone)
- Press 3 to record your name. (announced name)
- Press 4 to change your temporary greeting. (for vacation or out of office)

- 3 way calling (conference) Make a phone call to person 1, Press the button “Conference”, dial 2nd person to initiate a conference.
Phone not ringing!
- Make sure the volume is not turned all the way down.
- Verify you do not have DND (do not disturb) on your desk phone.
- If you use GoToConnect App, turn off do not disturb setting in the app.
- Click on the head and shoulders icon in the upper left.
- Turn off “Do not disturb” you can keep “silence this device” on if you want.
- If you have used GoToConnect website to configure your phone, verify that do not disturb is not on.
Transferring / Answering Other Phones To transfer a call directly to any voicemail, just add 0 before the extension when you transfer
To pick up a call from another phone dial *97 then the extension # of the phone you want to answer
Office Personnel Information - To view voicemails (once turned on) In Gmail you will switch back and forth between email accounts using the lower Google letter. It will open in a new tab that you can keep open (without closing your email)
