-   * Each classroom is equipped with a Cat-Switch (we refer to them as the "Black Box") 
-  * The Black Box is the master control center for all the sound and video in your classroom. 
-  * Source #1 Is your teacher computer. 
-  * Source #2 is available for a laptop/​netbook ELMO/​Document Camera or MP3 player. 
-  * Source #3 is for DVD / VHS players (keep in mind your computer acts as a DVD player for most of your needs)

-**Other things to keep in mind** 
-  * When the Black Box is off, your projector **AND** ​ ceiling speakers are both **OFF**. 
-  * The projectors have a bulb life of 1800 hours, when not in use please shut the projector off. 
-  * If you like to have music but not have the projector on all day, use the projector remote to turn the projector off. 
-  * If you do not have a projector remote and require one, please fill out a technology request.

-**Troubleshooting:​** 
-  * Most problems with the black can be fixed by re-seating it. Press both button 1 and 3 at the same time to reset the box.

-Print and place the document below near your Black Box for a quick reference; \\  \\
